Take a Look: Upcoming Opportunities for Sculptors

Here are some upcoming prizes that may be of interest.

The 2021 Napier Waller Art Prize (restricted to current and former ADF personnel) is calling for entries until 12 December 2021. Entries in diverse media (including sculpture) are encouraged.

The 2022 John Villiers Outback Art Prize is open for entries until 10 January 2022. A prize pool of $16,000 is available, including a $10,000 acquisitive prize for first place, and a $3,000 youth category prize.

The Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition is the most innovative and important annual event to take place in the Toorak Village, where they link the arts with business to form a unique cultural experience. The exhibition will celebrate its 20th year in 2022. The exhibition/prize is calling for entries until 1 February 2022 in both its interior and exterior categories.

Coordinated by the Alice Springs Art Foundation, The 42nd Alice Prize is judged by an expert selection panel and judge of national standing, with national exposure for exhibiting artists and the opportunity to show in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, the cultural heart of Australia. Entries close 13 February 2022.

Entries for the Ravenswood Australian Women's Art Prize are now open. The prize is open to submissions in any medium from Australian women, and boasts a whopping $35,000 acquisitive main prize. Entries close 23 February 2022.
